The Best Sunless Tanning Methods

Monday, July 30th, 2007

By Paton Jackson If you havent noticed the summer is already here. Surprisingly, you dont have to wait for the summer for endless beach hours beating down on the sun rays. Sunless tanning also known as the indoor tanning is more popular and easy than ever and it is much safer than sun tanning. Here are 10 tips for sunless tanning: 1. Airbrush tanning Airbrush tanning is a new an emerging sunless tanning method. Using a clear liquid containing called dihydroxyacetone (DHA), you can get a golden tanned look for five to ten days. The ingredients of the airbrush tanning lotion are FDA approved and are considered safer than commercial tanning beds. 2. Tanning beds Tanning beds and tanning booths actually imitate the sun. Tanning bed lamps use UV-B and UV-C rays to achieve the optimal tanning results. However, tanning bed lamps do not use UV-A rays which are considered harmful.
You will feel the tanning beds results after a couple of weeks. You may go to a professional tanning salon and get the golden look at one of the commercial tanning beds (Wolff tanning beds are the best ones) or get your own home tanning bed. You can get a discount tanning bed in one the wholesale home tanning beds shops. Yet, you must realize that maintaining a tanning bed is an expensive task you will have to purchase tanning bed products like tanning bed lotions and tanning bed bulbs. 3. Tanning lotions There is a wide variety of sunless tanning lotions. They are definitely the cheapest sunless tanning method. Nothing is easier than buying discount tanning lotions. However. Most of them have uncertain efficiency. In most cases, the tanning lotions are made of vitamins, minerals and herbal ingredients. You may choose either one of the above sunless tanning methods. There is no reason for sun tanning nowadays. It takes too long and it is too risky. Find the best sunless tanning method only on the Sunless tanning bible. Burn Fat While You Sleep? Forget It

Monday, July 30th, 2007

By Gabe Mirkin, M.D. Please dont be taken in by ads that claim theit product will cause you to burn fat instead of sugar while you sleep. Even if the pills worked, you burn so few calories during sleep that it is irrelevant whether you are burning sugar or fat. Your body burns primarily fat and sugar for energy. The harder you exercise, the more sugar your muscles use. You use the lowest percentage of fat when you exercise and the highest percentage when you sleep. Your body converts fat into sugar and sugar into fat, so the crucial factor is how many calories you burn, and not whether you burn more fat or sugar. For example, the average 150 pound person burns about 60 calories an hour during sleep, compared to more than 600 calories per hour while jogging. If you burn 80 percent fat during sleep, you will burn 48 calories of fat or one fifth of an ounce. If you burn 50 percent fat when you exercise, you will burn 1.3 ounces of fat per hour or more than six times as much. There are many products on the market today that promise to help you lose weight. None will have any lasting effect unless they get you to exercise more and eat fewer calories. If you are serious about losing weight, learn to eat lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and beans; avoid concentrated sources of fats, especially saturated fats and partially hydrogenated oils; and stay away from refined carbohydrates (foods made with any type of flour, white rice or milled corn, and all added sugars). Start a vigorous exercise program that you can continue for the rest of your life. Forget about diet gimmicks; if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The Only Way To Forget About Her

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

By Teddy Shabba When the relationship between you and a woman ends, it is natural for you to still think about her. Whether you choose to focus on the good times or the bad it doesn’t really matter, even though when you choose to focus on the bad you tend to not want her back. Thinking about you ex, no matter what, is something that no one likes doing! Yet, in order to forget about her, there really are only two things that will cause it to happen and only one of those do you have any type of control over. The first reason, which you don’t have any control over, is time. Obviously as more time passes, the less and less you will find yourself thinking about your ex. You might not ever forget her, yet all that really means is that the two of you shared a lot of moments in time together and that is always a good thing, hopefully. The second reason, which you do have control over is seeing other women. When the two of you broke up it created a void in you life and you mind is telling you exactly what you need in order to fill it. However, since you ex was the last person to fulfill those needs it keeps giving you a picture of her The closer you look at the pictures and thoughts in you mind of her, the sooner you will find what it is you really need, Surprisingly, when another woman fill’s some of those needs bit not all of them, the thoughts of your ex will gradually disappear. In the end, thinking about your ex is a certainty of life, what you choose to do with these thoughts is all that matters. How to Stop Paying for Dates with Women

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

By Matthew Buschbacher Okay… so, if you’re like me and aren’t anywhere near being rich, you probably don’t want to pay for women on every date that you go on. Personally, at this point, I just don’t have the money. Well, there’s a solution to this problem… Don’t go on dates. Yes, that’s right. I just told you not to go on dates. Even if you have the money to spend on dates, don’t go on them. They are not only expensive, but they are completely counter productive if you want a relationship with a woman. I can hear it now, “But, isn’t the name of your book ‘Date the Women of Your Dreams’? How can I date the women of my dreams if I don’t go on dates?” Honestly, it’s because I like the name… and the URL was available. But, really, when I talk about “dating”, I’m talking about going through the courtship process with a woman. I’m NOT talking about taking a girl out, spending lots of money on her and hoping to get a kiss at the end of the night. If you try to buy a woman’s affection, you might succeed(I know a few guys who use this technique regularly). However, you probably won’t be in the type of relationship that you want. When you try to buy a woman, show her how cool your car is, or do anything else that obviously shows that you’re trying to impress her, you’re basically telling her that you aren’t good enough for her by yourself and that the rest of the relationship is going to be spent by you trying to continually win her affection with money and gifts. This is the WRONG way to go. In the long run, you won’t be happy, she won’t be happy and you’ll just be used and abused until she finally has enough of it and dumps you. If you have money or something impressive, let her find out from seeing it. And if she’s not impressed by it, don’t be surprised. Eventually, when you get good at the principles that I teach, you’ll have women buying you dinners, taking you out, and treating you to a good time like I do. But, that’s a another story. We have a norm in our society that says when you take a girl out, you have to pay. And if you take a girl out, expect to pay. Really… There’s a big difference between being “cheap” and not having any money. Thank goodness women are attracted to men for their character and not their just their money or I’d be shit out of luck. If you’re taking a woman out and expecting her to pay even though it was all your idea, she didn’t offer to pay, and you took her out, you’re going to look like a cheap bastard. And, most importantly, you’re going to make the situation extremely awkward. Okay, I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with being conscious about your money. If we all just went around spending and not saving anything, we’d all be in debt. You just don’t want women to know that you’re as cheap as you are… its better to have her think you just don’t have any money. Now, if you come across as just not having any money, that won’t be a big deal unless you’re with a gold digger and she probably won’t be with you at this point anyway(or not for long if you play your cards right). Also, don’t take a woman out somewhere that you guys have to pay money for if you don’t have the money… that’s just silly. So, how do you “date” girls if you aren’t taking them out to dinners? I’m glad you asked. There are actually a lot of different ways to approach this. The frame that you want to have though is, “We’re just going to hang out because you seem cool and if something happens, something happens.” You’re not going on a “date” at any point. If she mentions going on a date with you, dating you, or anything anywhere similar to any of these, make it known that you are not looking to date but that you think she is cool and want to hang out. If something happens, it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. Then accuse her of coming on to you too early. I like to go to social events. My favorite is swing dancing. It’s a laid back environment where you can just have a good time with her and build the connection between the two of you. Also, there are a TON of creepy guys there so your contrast to them makes you seem like an even cooler guy that you are. Just have her meet you there and she’ll pay herself to get in. And, even if you bring her, it hardly costs anything to swing dance. And, swing dancing isn’t the only thing that you can go do. If you really don’t want to spend a dime, have her come along to something like going shopping for a present(for your sister… I know there’s always a holiday coming up soon.) or for yourself, go walking in the park, go play some pool, riding bikes, to a carnival, art museum, climbing, whatever. The point is, you can go do a lot of things. And, I’ve found that most things that you can go do will probably cost a lot less than going to dinner or a movie and will probably be a lot more interesting for her. Why would she want to go to dinner anyway? Do you know how many guys have probably taken her out to dinner before? Go do something fun and enjoy the time you have. Another thing to think about is that some women like to pay for things. They feel badly if they don’t pay for their half. Allow them to do so. A lot of girls will feel awkward if you’re paying for everything and that’s the last thing you need. If you’re using all my techniques and principles the right way, it won’t matter whether you’re driving her around in a Mercedes or you’re taking her around in on an electronic scooter… she’ll love you for it. You see, I’ve tried everything imaginable with women. Most of the stuff that I’ve tried out didn’t work. That’s right… it sucked a big one. But, through all of the trial and error, testing and retesting, I’ve developed systems that actually do work… and they work quite well indeed. You can save yourself days, weeks, months and years of doing things that didn’t work by just following the instructions that I give you in my books. Who Is Eligible for a Bad Credit Personal Loan?

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Talbert_Williams]Talbert Williams It is a myth that you cannot get a personal loan if you have a less than good credit rating title on your credit history report. Personal loans for bad credit are now readily available, and they not only solve the money problems of people with bad credit, but also give an opportunity to improve the credit score. Personal loans for bad credit require a higher rate of interest and a higher down payment than the normal loans. The interest rate on the personal loan for bad credit depends on the credit rating, the security offered, loan amount, personal income, and a few other factors. The loans backed by a collateral security are called secured personal loans for bad credit; whereas the loans not backed by a collateral security are called unsecured personal loans for bad credit. If the value of the property that is provided as collateral for the secured personal loan for bad credit is more than the loan amount, then the rate of interest to be paid can be very low. The interest rate on the unsecured personal loans for bad credit is higher than for secured personal loans for bad credit, but the term of repayment is shorter. The higher your credit score, the more favorable would be the terms on which you would get the personal loan for credit. Thus, you need to know everything about your credit score and credit report, and you also need to provide all your personal details to the personal loan for bad credit lender accurately. If you provide incorrect information, then it may lead to the rejection of your loan application. Moreover, if you are consistent with your personal loan for bad credit, then you can even improve your credit situation. Following these simple techniques, you will be able to get rid of your bad credit in two months. Why You Should Apply Early

Monday, July 16th, 2007

By Chris Stout Preparing for college can be a very nerve racking experience. You have to spend all that time organizing the various portions of your application. Theres your transcripts, personal statement, letter of recommendation and volumes of personal accomplishments to include. Once you send your application in, theres an anxious waiting period. Applying to colleges can be pretty stressful, but one way to reduce the stress and skew the acceptance odds in your favor is to apply early. Applying to college early is a good idea. The best time to apply to the schools that you are considering is the moment when they begin accepting applications. Whether the college youre applying to has specific deadlines or rolling admissions, as soon as you can turn in your application, do so. In most colleges, early application increases your odds of acceptance. This is not true for every institution of higher learning, so if you are unsure whether or not an early application will increase your odds, ask admissions officers specific questions about their application policies. Ask how many students are admitted early, and find out what percentage of early applicants were accepted. If each figure is a high number, then you know that an early application will increase your chances of being accepted. You can also apply for an early decision (or early action), but some restrictions will apply. When you apply for an early decision, you have to be fairly certain that you will be accepted. Early decisions come at a price. Typically, the college that you are applying to will want to have a higher degree of commitment from you, if you are accepted. You may have to apply exclusively to just one school and commit to only that school if accepted. Early decisions are usually made by December, so if you are confident that you can get in to the school of your choice, and if you are ready to make an exclusive commitment to that school, then early decisions can really help you speed up the admissions process. Even of you plan to attend a community college, you still need to apply early. The admissions process for junior colleges is much more streamlined and much less stringent than the application process for four-year universities. Despite the more simple procedures and requirements, some community colleges start to turn applicants away when they get too full. If you really want to secure a spot at your local community college, then applying early is the way to go. Applying early will save you time and reduce your level of academic anxiety. When you apply early, you get results back quickly. Whether the news is good or bad, the more time you have to make arrangements the better. If you get into the school of your choice, you can immediately start looking for housing and accepting financial aid. If you are rejected from the school of your choice, then you still have time to take evasive action like appealing your decision or finding alternative solutions. Stem Cell Breakthrough: Can You Now Make Your Own?

Friday, July 13th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=David_Lear] David Lear Over the past few years, stem cells have been getting a lot of attention. What makes them so interesting is their ability to stimulate the production of many types of healthy cells. That means that a single stem cell can turn itself into brain cells, liver cells, skin cells, pancreas cells, and so on. In February of 2003, an article about stem cells was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). A team of researchers at Johns Hopkins Medical Center reported, for the first time, that undifferentiated donor stem cells were able to cross the blood brain barrier and morph themselves into neuronal cells. This was an especially important finding because, of all the cells in the body, neuron cells are the most advanced and complicated. This is significant because it means that if stem cells can morph themselves into brain neurons, then, chances are they can transform themselves into other types of cells too. In a separate but related area of science, there is a growing body of evidence that a specialized area of nutrition called glyconutrition is very likely responsible for causing the body to manufacture its own stem cells from its own bone marrow. This research is being overseen by Dr. Reg McDaniel M.D. at the Fischer Institute. Until the JAMA article came out, Dr. McDaniel’s team were in quite a quandary as to how people with varying neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Children’s Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, and Autism, were all experiencing increases in brain function when glyconutrients and other micronutrients were added to their diets. After the initial discovery that stem cells stimulated the growth of neuron cells, researchers wanted to know if these newly created neuron cells worked correctly. To do this, they turned their attention to children in comas. One was a boy who had been in a coma for three years. Glyconutrients were added to his feeding tube and within five days his doctor started seeing changes in his brain function. All this is became even more noteworthy when it was discovered that this wasn’t an isolated case. Other cases have been reported in which children have been awakened from long-term comas after receiving glyconutritional supplements introduced through feeding tubes. Following up on these findings, a group of pediatric neurologists have begun a glyconutrition study on 20 children who are in comas. In yet another case study, a six-year-old boy had been in a coma for three years. During that time his EEG measurements were virtually flat. Glyconutrients were introduced into his diet and over a six-month period, his EEG activity increased significantly. Here again was a clear connection between the introduction of glyconutrients and restored neurological brain function. In another study, Sara, a premature infant with fetal alcohol syndrome, who also had heart defects and cerebral palsy at birth, underwent a dramatic turn for the better when glyconutrients were introduced to her regimen. In this case, Sara was born prematurely and the only way to introduce glyconutrients into her little body was to rub a special glyconutritional cream into her skin. This went on until she was well enough to go home from the hospital. After that, her mother regularly added glyconutrients to her formula. When she was four years old, she was examined by her pediatric specialist. Amazingly, he found no evidence of fetal alcohol syndrome or cerebral palsy. Even better, her little heart had developed normally and no longer required surgery. One of the interesting aspects of this particular case history is that Sara was photographed when she was born and her face showed the obvious distorted characteristics of a child with severe fetal alcohol syndrome. By the time she was four years old, all of her facial anomalies disappeared. Her IQ also increased from less than 80 to over 100. For a child born with fetal alcohol syndrome, this type of recovery is virtually unprecedented. Now, while these individual case histories are quite remarkable, they do not in and of themselves constitute scientific proof. However, they have generated a lot of hope and more importantly, have stimulated interest on the part of the medical community to conduct new studies and research in this exciting and fast growing area of nutritional technology. (Note: Dietary supplements are designed to improve nutrition rather than to treat disease. However, scientific research has established a connection between nutrition and many disease conditions.) David Lear is an independent nutrition researcher and free-lance writer. His principal area of interest is in natural, cutting-edge supplements that improve health and reverse incurable illness. Antique Delft and Very Collectible Tiles and Ceramics: Beginners Start Here

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

By Joy Pearson So you fancy starting a collection but you’re not sure what to collect? How About . . . ? Every home will contain at least one example or more - in the kitchen, the bathroom, the fire surround. How long have they been in existence and what should we look out for when buying an Old Tile. When trying to identify an old tile, the most difficult aspect is where was it made and when. The most famous tiles are referred to as delft. But why? The term delft is derived from the dutch town of Delft. The Netherlands began to produce tin-glazed earthenware in the late 15 century. Potteries were established in many parts of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, Haarlem and Rotterdam, but by the late 17 century Delft had become the most important centre of production and nearly 30 companies were working in the area. The original delft tile designs came about when Chinese porcelain stopped being imported in the mid 17 century and the popular Chinese wares were reproduced in blue and white. Initially made in blue and white, later in the century the Delft potters introduced a wider variety of colours, yellow, purple, blue, red, green and black. Flemish and Dutch potters arrived and settled in London in 1570, but it wasn’t until the 18 century that the delftware tile industry became established in Britian. The main centres were London, Bristol and Liverpool. The tiles usually depicted flowers, ships, landscapes and many scenes of biblical subjects. So now we know that we’re looking for either Duitch delft or English delft, but it’s quite dificult with these early examples to determine the place of origin. A few tips: Dutch delft often has a gritty texture, thick glaze and ‘peppering’ on the surface caused by air bubbles exploding during firing. Dutch tiles are painted in a very assured manner with great skill and expertise. The tin glaze of Dutch tiles is usually whiter because it contains more tin oxides making it liable to craze. British delftware is typically less finely potted and the glaze is often tinged with blue or pink. Colours tend to be more muted due to the absorbency of the tin glaze used. The glaze is much glossier and smoother than Dutch glaze and it does not craze easily. So to sum up: Gritty, thich white glaze, very well painted, crazed ……. Dutch. Smooth, glazed tinged blue or pink, muted colours, little crazing …. English. Now all you have to do is get out there and start looking, but beware - lots of reproductions so take time to do a bit more studying by way of delftware tiles. Also remember, plates, flower bricks, jugs, posset pots, handwarmers, puzzle jugs, char dishes, vases, bowls and beautifully glazed drug jars for use by apothocaries were produced in delftware, but that’s another story. We run a small but beautifully formed General Antiques Shop which is situated in Kirkby Lonsdale In the Yorkshire Dales/Cumbria Border. http://www.architus.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Joy_Pearson http://EzineArticles.com/?Antique-Delft-and-Very-Collectible-Tiles-and-Ceramics:-Beginners-Start-Here&id=46911 120 some tramadol can cod between tramadol being hurts was stomach where lining about tramadol said hydro all tramadol of hydrochloride which ultracet while

Does The Police Department Have Ticket Quotas - Written By A Former Police Officer

Monday, July 9th, 2007

By Robert Davis I’m a former police officer. If you have not heard, I have written a book called, “Cop Out” ( isbn# 0-595-42543-7). It’s a true story about my life as a former police officer. My book tells it as I saw it. “Cop Out” speaks about a former police officer, who later became a fugitive from law enforcement for 22 years. My life as a fugitive is not a proud event in my life, but it was my life. In my previous article, you would have learned how to avoid traffic tickets when stopped by the police. If any of the readers wondered why I revealed so much information about how police officers operate, read my book. To those of you who are not privy to my book ( available through amazon, yahoo and and through ordering at barnes&noble ) here is a brief note. I was a rogue police officer. I was a young arrogant cop, seeking power instead of fairness. I am ashamed that I dishonored the trust placed in my hands. But nevertheless, I must make sure that other rogue cops do not violate the citizens as I had done. Call it my gift to the world. Now to the subject at hand. Are there quotas? In all major cities, “No.” The reason is that a police officers’ salary is paid by that city’s tax base. That major city collects taxes from so many sources, all city employees are paid. If it’s a city with under 25,000 people, that is a different story. In small cities, the tax base is not large. Therefore, there is an unwritten understanding with the chief of police and the city council to increase revenue to the city through traffic tickets and fines. At this point, unlike a large city, the police chief is placed under greater pressure to bring in funds. The chief becomes an instrument of politicians. The chief may not even realize that he is being used. So therefore, as you travel through major cities, don’t worry. But if you travel through a small city or municipality, slow down. Besides, the police officers in these cities have nothing to do but look for out of town drivers. In major cities, they have many more problems to tend to. Slow down, and arrive home safely! Robert Davis is a former police officer. He is an avid reader of all subjects. His mission in life is to reveal police tactics and procedures to help fellow citizens with rogue cops. He studied at Loyola university. The foreword to his book is written by well known priest Father George Clements of Chicago. Father Clements life was made into a major motion picture title, The Father George Clements Story, starring actors Lou Gossett jr. and Malcolm Jamal Warner. But, Butter Is More Natural…

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

By Ian McKenzie Another short chapter in the butter versus margarine debate. Yes, I’ll have more to say about what I consider the pros and cons of butter and margarine are at a later date! But, for the time being I would like to comment on the title above. I heard this comment from someone extolling the virtues of butter in relation to margarine. I am afraid that I fail to understand the claim or belief that butter is natural! Sorry, I mean more natural than margarine! Let’s take a quick look at how butter is manufactured. Firstly, a paddock with grass growing and supplies of water is generally required. Secondly, grazing in the paddock, we generally require one or more bovine animals of the female gender, commonly called cows. Now immediately, this term “cows” or “cow” should give us a few clues. Isn’t the term “cow” used colloquially to refer to an ugly or bad tempered woman? Or it can also mean something unpleasant or disagreeable…, “I have had a cow of a day..”. Or, “a fair cow…”. The term is also used expressing sympathy on occasions…, “the poor cow”, an unfortunate person! And finally, for something that seemingly takes forever, we may say, “till the cows come home”. But no, I am not going to use colloquialisms as a part of my argument. Let’s just look at the facts. Let’s look at the part these female bovines play in the butter manufacturing process. The farmer has the cow or cows fenced in a paddock, breathing fresh natural air, eating green natural grass and drinking fresh natural water from the natural stream. But, that is about where the “natural” bit ends! Basically the first part of the manufacture of butter necessitates a cow or cows eating copious quantities of grass, drinking heaps of water and of course constantly breathing fresh air! The grass is masticated, being mixed with cow saliva, before being swallowed and passing through the cow’s oesophagus and through the cow’s alimentary canal until it comes to the first of several sac-like enlargements called stomachs…, and yes, cows have more than one. Here the masticated grass/saliva mixture is further mixed with other juices produced by the cow and the digestion process takes place. However, the vast majority of what has gone into the first bovine orifice, the cow’s mouth, after much processing will come out of two other orifices at the opposite end of the cow, as waste product. Talking of orifices, there are yet another five involved in the first part of the manufacture of butter! And the poor cows are not able to do it on their own! They need the assistance of a bovine of the male gender, commonly called a bull! Yes, the farmer needs occasionally to let a bull into the paddock with the cows, for it to ‘have his way’ with them. This part of the butter manufacturing process involves the bull placing his appendage into one of those five orifices of the cow mentioned above and pumping in some of his own special juices. The expected result of this is that the cow becomes pregnant, and eventually produces calves. Now, this is a very important part of the butter manufacturing process. You see, cows are members of mammalia, a class of vertebrates whose young feed upon milk from their mother’s breasts. In the case of cows, this milk production is one of the by-products of the digestive process mentioned above. But the obtaining of milk from the poor cow for the process of butter manufacture is far from natural! You see, the teats on the cow, the final four cow orifices mentioned above, are squeezed by either the farmer’s hands or a milking machine. The cow’s body processes are therefore fooled into thinking that the calves need feeding, and the milk is produced! But, where does the butter come from? Well, the milk is stored in vats and left to stand. The nutrient rich stuff is heavier and goes to the bottom, and the lighter saturated fatty gunk known as cream floats to the top. Machines are then used to beat the hell out or this fat. Two end products are produced. One is a watery translucent liquid, which is poured off and used for other purposes. The other end product is a pale yellow semi-solid stuff that is then generally processed further by adding things such as salt and colouring and packaged into containers. It is then sold as butter! “A natural product…..!!!” But, butter is more natural..! Another short chapter in the butter versus margarine debate. Yes, I’ll have more to say about what I consider the pros and cons of butter and margarine are at a later date! But, for the time being I would like to comment on the post title above. This comment was made by an acquaintance of mine whilst extolling the virtues of butter in relation to margarine.
